↳ People with this totem have a lot of good thoughts to share and find themselves being consulted when friends or family are in trouble. The wisdom of the wolf spirit also creates patience and you can almost always count on a loyal ear when times are hard. The loyalty of this spirit is so great that once you are in the pack they will bend over backward for you, for life. People with this power animal will prefer diplomacy and retreat over open hostility or fights but this is not because of cowardice, this is because of intelligence. Do not expect them to be defeated easily as the wolf maintains a network of loyal friends and family for when the going gets tough.
Wolf people are both social and anti-social. They are not extroverts, but nor do they genuinely enjoy spending every waking moment alone. They need a close circle of friends, a loving partner, and they need to know where they fit in in a community. For this reason they often maintain community rules and protocol, and will be among the first to let another know when they have let the group down. Wolf people need time to themselves, or they suffocate. They also need time with other people, or again, they suffocate. Wolf people are masters of striking up balance between the two, though may go through teething problems with this lesson as children / adolescents.
